Waco's Cameron Park is one of the largest municipal parks in the state of Texas. It offers a sample of Texas nature and wildlife. The Waco Suspension Bridge is well-known in Waco. The mayor university of Waco is Baylor. In 1845, Baylor University was founded Independence, Texas; the making it the soft drink Dr.Pepper was invented at Morrison's Old Corner Drug Store. The Dr.Pepper Museum is a mayor Waco attraction. Tourist love to come see where the famous soft drink was created. The Waco Thunder is the semi-pro sports football team, competing in the Texas United Football League. Ashlee Simpson, the pop music singer, was born in Waco. Lance Berkman, a Mayor League Baseball player for the Houston Astros was also born in Waco and his parents still live there.
