Brenham,Texas, is a beautiful and historical small town located approximately 72 miles northwest of Houston, in South Central Texas. It takes about one hour and twenty minutes to drive from Houston to Brenham, heading west on US-290 toward Austin. Also known as "The Birthplace of Texas," Brenham is the county seat of Washington County in an area called Post Oak Belt and Black Lands of the Gulf Coastal Plain.
